Galerie feinart Berlin is offering live portrait painting sessions with Irish artist Conor Walton at the gallery and as part of the artist’s current exhibitions on 4 and 5 October 2024. People can have their portrait painted on site by the artist in 2- or 4-hour sessions.

Gallery owner Maria Wirth from feinart Berlin presents the project idea: ‘A special portrait – a portrait in which you are really seen, you and your being are captured, so not a quick picture on the street, but a work full of art with time, mindfulness on a canvas, a special portrait of you, made by a well-known painter from Ireland. You experience the creation of the painting and can relax with a drink. Here it’s all about you, artistically and for once. No mass production. You are the motif and help to create a work, take a little painterly break in the gallery for 2 hours or almost half a day. We would be delighted if you would join us and let Conor Walton paint you and support this craft of portrait painting.’
The portraits are painted in oil on canvas, size 40 x 30 cm. After a session of 2 hours the portrait costs 500 €, a more extensive portrait (4 hours and longer) costs 1000 €.
During Live Portraits, visitors can view Conor Walton’s exhibition in the gallery.
