Premieres, world premieres and events in autumn 2024 – Deutsches Theater Berlin

Editors’ Choice

The season opening of the Deutsches Theater with three new productions is just around the corner: from 26 to 28 September 2024, DT Bühne, Kammer and Box will celebrate their premieres. Further premieres and the so-called context events will follow in October, which – as in September – will accompany the productions of the Deutsches Theater in an informative way. There are also events on current topics, such as the election special on the elections in East Germany and Austria at the end of September. Admission to context events is free.

DAS SCHIFF DER TRÄUME [FÄHRT EINFACH WEITER]
after Federico Fellinis E la nave va
Texts by Thomas Perle & Ensemble

In Anna Bergmann’s production, Fellini’s satire of doom becomes a bittersweet dance on the pulsating volcano of our present day. How can we avoid war and destruction – and what can we do to counter blindness and violence? Fellini has no solutions. He creates comfort and lightness in a world that hardly knows any alternatives to the omnipresent dystopian images.
