On Thursday, 28. November 2024 the group exhibition of this year’s finalists of the BBA Photography Prize 2024 is opening at Kühlhaus Berlin.

This year’s exhibition reveals the full diversity and creativity of contemporary photography – in the diverse themes of the works, in the artistic processes and the technical realisation.
Highlights include Michelle Blancke’s fantastic landscapes of secret worlds, Norberto Pezzotta’s exploration of beauty in the age of artificial intelligence, Valentin Valette’s visual analysis of economic and spatial development in Oman and Sabrina Komár’s unconventional weaving technique that thematises the “family photo”.
The BBA Photo Prize provides creative people with a platform that enables online promotion, offers prize money, organises group exhibitions and a solo exhibition for the winner of the first prize.
As an international prize, the BBA Photo Award recognises creative people regardless of their age, career or social background. Both the pre-nominated photographers selected by a renowned jury and – digitally, via display – the winner of the BBA Photo Award 2023 (Patty Carroll, USA) and the 50 photographers nominated for the One Shot Award will be exhibited.
