Together with partners, the sustainability project ViiP DESIGN invites you to the Slow Fashion Design Mini Festival ‘TOGETHER… towards a sustainable World!’ on 27 July and 28 July 2024 with fashion presentations, dialogue, performances, tango and snacks. ViiP DESIGN supports up-and-coming international designers who work in the field of slow fashion and produce their collections by upcycling, recycling and second-hand clothing. Together they organise exhibitions, talks, dialogues, workshops, fashion shows, pop-ups and everything to do with sustainability and the circular economy in design and fashion. The Slow Fashion Design Weekend will take place on Saturday, 27 July and Sunday, 28 July from 1 to 8 p.m. in the CSR.ART CONTEMPORARY SHOW ROOM in Friedrichstraße.

ViiP DESIGN stands for Very Interesting & Inspiring People Design. It consists of a young but consciously growing community that brings together creative people from all over the world who are dedicated to the topic of slow fashion. The common goal of the project centred around the initiator Aigul Neven, who lives in Argentina and Germany, is to promote sustainability and accelerate the circular economy in textile and fashion production. Living and creating with love for nature is what ViiP DESIGN deeply feels and presents in all the activities it initiates in Berlin, Buenos Aires and everywhere else in the world.

Together with partners, ViiP DESIGN invites Berliners and their guests to the festival ‘TOGETHER … towards a sustainable World! The word TOGEHTER (> TOGETHER) has a special meaning for ViiP DESIGN. Because ViiP DESIGN is convinced that people are only capable of working together:
- to set a strong example for sustainable thinking,
- to realise the dream of living in a sustainable world in which we live consciously and design intelligently – locally and globally,
- save nature from total destruction,
- reduce pollution through responsible and environmentally friendly activities and production.
Together with young designers, ViiP DESIGN produces a joint slow fashion collection, GARDEN of WINGS, once a year. Each participant contributes their own vision and preserves their creative identity. They create new clothes using only donated second-hand goods. And so ViiP Design invites everyone into the world of slow fashion, where every piece is unique and made for people who live with love for nature.
This event is all about celebrating sustainable SLOW FASHION. It will showcase different brands from up-and-coming designers from Buenos Aires, Berlin and other cities who create unique pieces from second-hand and used fabrics. On Saturday 27 July at 6pm, everyone is invited to participate in an open DIALOGUE where designers, experts and consumers can share their knowledge, experiences, challenges, practices in the world of sustainable fashion and reflect together on the role of the circular economy in this world.
The event invites you to think, talk, create and celebrate working together for a sustainable world. Music, snacks and cold drinks at the bar will be provided. Everyone is welcome to take part.

CSR.ART CONTEMPORARY SHOW ROOM presents relevant contemporary works by artists regardless of age, origin or gender in experimental exhibitions at temporary locations. The aim is to contribute to dialogue and intercultural exchange. The exhibitions are organised by DEEDS.LAB, a non-profit organisation for the promotion of art and culture. In order to promote artists and make art visible, DEEDS.LAB develops concepts and collaborates with various partners. DEEDS.LAB is supported by ART@Berlin.
